About Me

Tom Zylbersztein is a composer currently based in New York City. His recent major projects include composing the score for The Last Robbery (Middle Eastern melodramatic crime feature - Hot VOD), The Fenestas (Animated web series - KAN Israeli Brodcast Corporation) working as the music editor and additional composer for The Malevolent Bride (Horror series - KAN and A&E Studios) and scoring The Cool and the Strong ( kids series on SCETV). Tom also produces tracks for the media library Artlist.io as a part of their originals team, and frequently writes arrangements for the Israeli Sinfonietta Be'er Sheva.

Tom has composed 15 concert pieces, including "The Mysterious Samuel Alleno" which won the Israeli Flute Choir's Composition Competition, and "False Sunrise", an orchestral piece debuted at the Sounds In the Desert Festival 2021. Tom holds a B.MUS in Multi Disciplinary Composition from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, having been accepted directly into the sophomore year, and a M.MUS in classical composition from the same institution, having won the Dean's prize. He is currently studying for a master's in screen scoring at NYU with a Fulbright scholarship and a mentee of the SCL mentorship program in NYC.
